Russia and Ukraine declare temporary ceasefire for Easter
Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a temporary ceasefire against Ukraine for the Orthodox Easter holiday. The ceasefire will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. on April 11 to the evening of April 12.
According to the Kremlin, hostilities will cease in all directions during this period, but troops have been instructed to be ready for possible provocations.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also expressed his readiness to observe the ceasefire and called for a peaceful Easter holiday.
