Rose and Bruno Mars hint at new duet

For the past year, BLACKPINK member Rose and Bruno Mars' song "APT." has been rocking all the charts. Recently, the creators hinted that they are working on another new duet.

During an interview, Bruno Mars was asked if there were any songs that did not make it to the final track list of the album. The singer confirmed that there was such a song:
“Yes, we have one more song. We really love it. I won't say the name yet, because we are thinking about when and in what format it will be presented to the audience,” said Bruno Mars.

Rose admitted that she felt excitement while working on the new material:
“When we made this song, I was really scared. But then I realized once again how important music is to people. I'm still realizing this and learning new things every day.”|

Their first meeting took place last year at a studio in Los Angeles. Rose said she took the moment as a unique opportunity:
“I felt like it was my last chance, so I tried to absorb as much as I could.”

Bruno Mars agrees:
“He was always on the move, asking questions, absorbing information.”

The collaboration didn’t end with “APT.”: Bruno Mars also co-wrote the track “Number One Girl,” which was included on Rose’s solo album.

“APT.” meanwhile, received three nominations at the next Grammys, including “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year,” cementing its status as a global hit. Speaking about the success, Bruno Mars said:
“Awards are unpredictable. But I think it’s already paid off. The most important thing is that people love our music. Whether we win or not is secondary.”
