A robot police officer named DubBot, who served in the US state of Ohio, has been fired after failing to record a single violation for 10 months.
The robot was supposed to patrol parking lots in Dublin, monitor security and report suspicious situations. However, not a single fine was issued during its work.
The city administration reported that the device worked technically correctly, but did not bring practical benefits.
According to reports, the cost of one robot was about $ 67,000. For this reason, the project was discontinued, and plans to launch a second robot were also canceled.
