Robert Pattinson will soon begin work on “The Batman Part II”

In an interview with the French TV show “C à vous,” the actor revealed that filming is set to begin in the coming days. According to him, he will return to the Batman project immediately after finishing the press tour for his new film “Drama!”, which is expected to wrap up in about a week.

“I’m very excited to get back to work. We’ll probably finish this press tour in about a week, and right after that I’ll start working on ‘Batman’. The new script is very, very cool,” Pattinson said.

This information aligns with the plans of Warner Bros. Discovery, which ранее announced that filming would begin in spring 2026, with the premiere scheduled for October 2027.

Earlier, there were reports that Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson might join the project. Both are stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is still unclear whether they will transition to the DC universe.

The first “The Batman” was released in 2022 and became Warner Bros.’ first major post-pandemic blockbuster, grossing $772 million worldwide.
