Riots erupt in Nepal

Social media bans and anti-corruption protests in Nepal have turned violent. On 9 September, protesters set fire to Parliament House, Government offices and other government institutions.
At least 19 people were killed in the two-day unrest, with hundreds injured. The prime minister resigned. Protesters raided his private residence and set the house on fire. 
The commander of the Armed Forces of Nepal addressed the protesters, urging the protesters to stop all protest actions and engage in dialogue in order to resolve the situation peacefully.
