More than 100 people were injured in the riots.
In Kyrgyzstan, the final of the President's Cup in basketball between the teams "Dostuk" and "Yntimak" ended with riots. Videos from the scene were published on social networks.
The incident took place at the "Toloykon" racecourse in Osh region. According to the result of the game, the victory went to "Yntimak", but the spectators were dissatisfied with the refereeing. According to preliminary information, the judge was beaten. In the footage shared on social networks, it can be seen that the policemen are escorting him away.
In the footage taken by the witnesses of the incident, stones were thrown at the ambulance and windows were broken.
Head of state Sadir Japarov, Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev and Chairman of the Supreme Court Zamirbek Bazarbekov also witnessed the incident.
According to the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, more than 100 people were injured as a result of the riots. Two people are in the hospital: one of them is a policeman, the other is a law enforcement officer. It was clarified that the Capricorn was injured during the game, not during the riots.
According to the agency, about 100 more people were given outpatient care in the set up medical tents.
