A water supply line was launched in one of the cities of republican subordination, it provided about 400 farms

A new line of drinking water was put into operation in Gissar.

This is reported by the agency "Khovar" with reference to the administration of the city of republican subordination.

Now more than 2,000 residents of the villages of Boki Rakhimzoda and Kamola Khujandi in the city of Gissar will not experience a lack of water.

In total, there are about 400 farms operating here, which require uninterrupted water supply.

It should be noted that earlier residents of multi-storey buildings did not have access to drinking water for a long time due to insufficient pressure in water pipes.

The authorities of Gissar allocated more than 100 thousand somoni for the organization of water supply and sewerage of the city.

Slightly more than half: how many Tajiks live without water?

Earlier, officials of the State Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services" of the republic at the reporting press conference for the first half of 2023 reported that out of a 10 million population, only 6.6 million people have access to central water supply.
