Representatives of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman met with Azerbaijanis repatriated from Syria

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 20 Representatives of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman met with Azerbaijanis repatriated from Syria.

According to Trend on Wednesday, this information was disseminated by the press service of the Office of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that on August 3, another 16 people (13 children and 3 women) were brought from Syria to Azerbaijan.

Representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, having met with these persons placed in the social service institution of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, inquired about the state of ensuring their rights.

During the meeting, the psychological state of women and children was studied, representatives of the apparatus were informed about the measures taken for their social rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
