Reports emerge of a 19-year-old man in Qarshi being beaten by police officers over his long hair

It is reported that a 19-year-old man in the city of Qarshi was forcibly taken away and beaten by law enforcement officers.
In a video message circulating on social media, the young man's sister recounted the incident. She stated that prevention inspectors deemed the young man suspicious because of his long hair, claiming he "looked like a terrorist." It is alleged that when the young man attempted to record the incident on his phone, the officers used force against him, choked him, and forcibly took him away in a service vehicle.
The sister noted that, while handcuffed at the internal affairs department, the young man was coerced into writing a statement admitting to allegedly insulting and resisting the officers. Footage shows the young man with bruises on his face, injuries to his nose and head, signs of blows on his back and shoulders, and patches of hair torn out. The young man's sister has appealed to the President and the leadership of state agencies, requesting an investigation into the incident and a legal assessment of the officers' actions.
