Renowned Kazakh Actor Murat Bisembin Has Passed Away

Prominent Kazakh film and television actor Murat Bisembin has passed away at the age of 53–54 after a long and serious illness. His death was announced by close family members, including his daughter, who shared a heartfelt farewell message on social media.

Murat Bisembin rose to wide fame for his role as Ruslan in the film “Racketeer”, which became a landmark project in Kazakh cinema and brought the actor recognition not only in Kazakhstan but also abroad. His on-screen performances were known for their strong character, emotional depth, and sincerity.

Throughout his career, Bisembin appeared in numerous popular films and television series, including “Tomiris,” “Brother or Marriage,” and “The Tale of the Pink Hare,” among others. Although he was originally trained as an engineer, acting became the true calling of his life.

In 2024, Murat Bisembin publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He underwent intensive treatment, including chemotherapy. Toward the end of 2025, his health deteriorated following a stroke, and he was hospitalized. Sadly, the illness proved fatal.

Colleagues, friends, and fans remember Murat Bisembin as a talented, sincere, and strong individual who left a lasting mark on the history of Kazakh cinema. His passing is a great loss for the national film industry.
