Relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership

On June 8, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo visited Uzbekistan. He was met by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov at Tashkent International Airport. On June 9, Fitzo laid flowers at the Independence Monument in the "New Uzbekistan" park and got acquainted with the complex. A meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held in Kuksaroy. The talks discussed issues of further expanding cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and technological spheres.
According to the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov, the parties have elevated their relations to the level of strategic partnership.
