Real estate transactions in multi-apartment buildings in Uzbekistan are approved after checking that the owner is not in debt

The presidential decision "On measures to organize the management of multi-apartment buildings more effectively" was adopted.

According to the decision, the borders of the adjacent land plots of multi-apartment buildings in the republic, whose borders are not defined, will be defined and entered into the "YERELEXTRON" information system.

From January 1, 2024:

transactions related to real estate in multi-apartment buildings are confirmed by notaries after checking that the owner does not have any debt in terms of mandatory contributions or payments;
the minimum amount of mandatory contributions or payments is determined by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy;
to collect waste generated from agrotechnical processing (tree and bush branches, leaves) and from cleaning areas adjacent to multi-apartment buildings at household waste collection points or special places agreed with waste removal operators is allowed.
The Accounts Chamber, together with the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Economy, in one month, 80.5 billion soums of debt of multi-apartment housing owners' associations and management organizations to regional electricity network enterprises and fines calculated for them conducts a study and makes proposals for recovery of this debt.

In this case, the debt repayment period will be postponed until October 1, 2024.
