London's famous Coventry Street has been lit up for the fourth time in celebration of Ramadan. The street, which stretches from Piccadilly Circus to Leicester Square, has been decorated with geometric LED lighting. An installation with the inscription "Happy Ramadan!" has been installed on the sidewalks. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Aziz Foundation and the city administration. London Mayor Sadiq Khan said that London was the first city in the Western world to light up its central street in honor of Ramadan. The festive lights will be turned on every day from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. until March 19.
