Rakhmon pointed out the risks of economic security of the CIS countries

The President of Tajikistan believes that promoting the “green economy” and energy is an important area of work for the entire Commonwealth

In the CIS countries, the threat to economic security has increased, and there are also risks for national economies.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon announced this at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State in Bishkek.

In this regard, the head of the republic called for strictly following the economic development strategy of the Commonwealth until 2030.

The Tajik leader also noted that CIS member countries must take into account the capabilities of their partners when implementing the program, including financial and production.

In addition, as part of the strategy, attention should be paid to the geopolitical situation in the region and the world.

Rahmon also pointed out that promoting the green economy and energy is an important area of work for the entire Commonwealth.

He noted that Tajikistan is further ready to promote climate initiatives at the global level and expressed hope that the CIS countries will cooperate with the republic in this area.

Let us recall that during the meeting in Bishkek, Rakhmon noted the active development of interstate contacts in 2023 and the positive dynamics of interactions between Tajikistan and Russia in all areas.
