Rahmon: Tajikistan can become a center for the production of electric vehicles

At the international forum "Dushanbe Invest - 2023", the President of Tajikistan explained why it is worth investing in the production of electric vehicles

Tajikistan has the potential to become a destination for the production of electric vehicles.

The President of the Republic stated this during the international forum “Dushanbe Invest - 2023”.

It is noted that aluminum is mined in the republic in compliance with all environmental requirements.

The country has also developed “green” energy and established lithium production, which are fundamental factors for creating a center for the production of electric vehicles, the head of state is convinced.

Earlier, the President of Tajikistan spoke about investing in the republic over the past 10 years. According to him, over this period of time, projects worth more than $10 billion have been implemented in the country.

The international forum "Dushanbe Invest - 2023" is being held in the capital of Tajikistan with the participation of about 800 delegates from more than 30 countries.

Also attending the event were Prime Minister of the Azerbaijani Government Ali Asadov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin and other high-ranking officials of the governments of several countries.

The main goal of the event is to present the conditions and opportunities for a favorable investment climate in the republic, attract investment, expand cooperation between domestic companies and foreign investors, and promote the development of digital trade.
