Rahmon solemnly welcomed in Beijing

The state visit of the Tajik leader to China began, within the framework of which it is planned to hold important negotiations with Xi Jinping and participate in the summit

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in China, the press service of the head of state reports.

Rahmon was warmly welcomed by a representative of the Chinese government along with a guard of honor company at Beijing International Airport.

The national flags of the two countries were raised.

As part of the state visit, the Tajik leader will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, representatives of local companies, and will also take part in the China + Central Asia summit.

The event will be held in Shaanxi province under the chairmanship of the head of China with the participation of the presidents of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

It is known that on this trip, Rahmon is accompanied by Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, as well as assistants for foreign relations and the economy.

As well as the heads of the Tajik ministries: economic development and trade, transport, industry and new technologies, the State Committee for National Security, the Committee on Television and Radio, the president of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and other officials.
