Rahmon's visit to Sughd: why the president came to the region

During a four-day visit to the Sughd region, the head of state opened several important facilities, including a new hospital.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon began his visit to the Sughd region with a visit to the Ayni district.

Here, the leader of the country launched the activities of the mining enterprise "TVEA Dushanbe Mining Industry" LLC.

The capacity of the new facility is 900 thousand tons of ore per year. The mining process will take place in 4 stages - mining, crushing, washing and sorting.

Rahmon also opened a new building of the regional hospital in the village of Urmetan, Ayni district. The medical institution is designed for 45 beds for the treatment of patients.

In total, doctors have the opportunity to provide quality medical services to 25,000 residents of 7 villages.

The head of state took part in the opening of a modern sewing and craft workshop.

Emomali Rahmon carried out personnel changes among officials of Sogd.

This enterprise will employ 20 local girls and women. They are provided with jobs and high wages, and favorable conditions have been created here for those who wish to acquire professions.
