Rahmon presented 200 state awards

Among the awarded are workers of science and culture, healthcare, manufacturing, services, public authorities and entrepreneurs of Tajikistan

In honor of the 32nd anniversary of the state independence of the republic, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented awards to workers of various professions who have achieved significant achievements in their work.

This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

The solemn ceremony was held in Dushanbe at the Palace of Nations.

In total, 200 people were awarded awards - scientists and teachers, poets and writers, cultural and art workers, military personnel.

The President of Tajikistan noted that independence and statehood made it possible for more than 30 years to complete significant work to ensure progress and prosperity, and further development of the republic.

"I believe in the high sense of patriotism of every young person in the country and I am proud of it, because they are the future of the motherland and the continuation of the work of the older generation," Rahmon stressed.

At the same time, 19 people were awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist", 105 citizens received the medal "For Merit", and 7 - the medal of Mercy. Another 11 were awarded the Honorary Diploma of Tajikistan.
