The heads of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan held a bilateral meeting within the framework of Rahmon's working visit to the summit of the presidents of the Central Asian countries
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

It is noted that during the talks, the colleagues discussed a set of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, trade, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
The need to deepen interaction within the framework of:
Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation,
Working Council of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan,
business forum practices.
"The presidents stressed the high level of trust and the existence of a great potential for cooperation between the two countries and spoke in favor of the further development of bilateral relations," the press service of the Tajik leader stated.
Recall that the head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to participate in the summit of leaders of Central Asian countries.
