The head of Tajikistan is confident that the upcoming meeting will contribute to further strengthening security and stability in Central Asia

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message to the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Turkmen mass media write about this.

It is noted that the head of state invited the former leader of the neighboring republic to take part in the negotiations of the presidents of the states of Central Asia.

"Attaching the importance of maintaining a trusting political dialogue, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to take part in the fifth, anniversary consultative meeting of the heads of states of Central Asia," Rahmon's message reads.

The head of Tajikistan expressed confidence that the upcoming meeting would help strengthen the process of developing regional cooperation and further strengthening security and stability in Central Asia.

Recall that the summit of the presidents of the Central Asian countries will be held on September 14-15 in Dushanbe. There, the heads of governments of the region will discuss the effectiveness of the implementation of current agreements, as well as sign new agreements.
