Rahmon and Tokayev opened the Days of Culture of Tajikistan

The Days of Culture of Tajikistan started in Astana.

The event at the State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera" united two friendly nations.

On the evening of August 25, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture was held, it was attended by the head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokaeev.

The original exhibition of folk crafts of Tajikistan, located in the foyer of the State Theater, has become a vivid reflection of the cultural wealth of the country.

Masterfully created samples of handicrafts, traditional national clothes, paintings and photographs were presented here, transferring to the world of Tajik history and creativity.

The presidents highly appreciated the skill of artisans, imbued with the art and heritage of Tajikistan.

The opening of the Cultural Days became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan and the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, the support of representatives of culture, art and literary figures.

Heads of State Emomali Rahmon and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated each other and expressed gratitude for the important role in organizing this cultural event, which contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the fraternal peoples of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

The Days of Culture of Tajikistan taking place from 24 to 29 August in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, as well as in Almaty and Chimkent, promise a rich program.
