A road traffic accident involving Lacetti and Nexia-3 vehicles occurred in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent. According to the city’s Traffic Safety Department, on December 20 at 03:45 a.m. on Makhtumkuli Street, a driver born in 2004 lost control of a Lacetti vehicle, crossed into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Nexia-3 driven by a driver born in 1977.

As a result of the crash, a passenger in the Nexia-3 died from injuries sustained in the accident. Both drivers received medical assistance. Videos showing the aftermath of the collision have circulated on social media.

A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
