Putin gave an order to strengthen the promotion of the Russian language

In his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29, Vladimir Putin ordered to strengthen the promotion of the Russian language abroad and instructed the government to increase funding for programs in the field of promotion of the Russian language and Russian culture.

"I ask the government to increase funding for international programs in the field of promoting the Russian language and our multicultural culture. First of all, of course, in the CIS and in the whole world," said Putin.
