Putin: ‘European piglets’ want to benefit from Russia’s collapse

On December 17, Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at the annual meeting of the Ministry of Defense, accusing the former U.S. administration of deliberately pushing the situation in Ukraine toward an armed conflict. He also referred to European politicians as “piglets,” claiming that they want to benefit from Russia’s collapse.

According to Putin, if Ukraine and Europe do not engage in meaningful peace negotiations, Russia is ready to use force to reclaim its historical territories.

He also accused European politicians of artificially exaggerating the “Russian threat” and spreading panic, stating that Russia is the only country in the world with a powerful and modernized nuclear arsenal.
