Chairman of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, Mufti Nuriddin Domla Khaliqnazarov criticized the fact that some people imitate representatives of other nations in terms of dressing.
"Our Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said, "Allah the Most High does not look at your appearance, image, or worldly wealth. He looks at your piety, your fear of Allah." Fear of Allah, piety is not measured by clothes.
There is no saying that if you become a Muslim, you have to change to this uniform. It was sent for all mankind - Arabs wear their own clothes, Turks wear their own clothes. Uzbeks too.
Islam also teaches standards and limits in clothing. Know your body, don't wear clothes that are shameful to the whole world by being obscene, or don't be black and be like the Arabs. It was not ordered to close the places where it is not necessary to close them," said His Highness the Mufti.
