The President gifts a home to writer Javlon Jovliyev and a winner of the “Book-Loving Family” contest

During a meeting with youth and community activists in the Qamashi district of the Qashqadaryo region, Shavkat Mirziyoyev issued instructions to provide a two-room apartment in the capital to writer Javlon Jovliyev and a winner of the “Book-Loving Family” (*Kitobxon oila*) contest.

“Even if you do not move there yourself, these apartments will be yours. In the future, your children will not have to face the hardships of living far from home. They will receive a great gift from their parents,” the President said.

Additionally, in light of October 21—Uzbek Language Day—discussions were held regarding the importance of the native language in fostering national identity, as well as the development of literature and a culture of reading.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his satisfaction with the gathering of youth and activists. Afterward, the President spoke with local community leaders and elders, exchanging views on the changes taking place in the area.
