Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey sign bilateral documents

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a Joint Statement and decisions within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership at the end of the fourth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

A set of bilateral documents was also signed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of healthcare, education, military medicine, economic, financial and mining sectors, international transport corridors, special economic zones, nuclear safety, migration, culture and other areas.

In the coming years, it is planned to increase the volume of trade turnover to $5 billion and develop new priority areas of industrial cooperation.
