President visits Victory Park on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory

​May 9 - On the occasion of the Day of Memory and Honor, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Victory Park in Tashkent.

According to tradition, the Head of State laid a wreath at the foot of the "Hymn of Fortitude" monument. This monument symbolizes the patience, courage and losses of our people during the war years.

During the event, the President noted that the selflessness of millions of Uzbeks who participated in the war and worked behind the front lines, as well as their courage and bravery, left an indelible mark on history.

The President also examined the "Light of Memory" monument. This monument is dedicated to the memory of Uzbek war heroes and embodies the idea of ​​​​success between two generations.
