President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Holds Telephone Talks with Vladimir Putin

On December 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

At the beginning of the conversation, the head of state strongly condemned the attempted attack on the residence of the Russian president in the Nizhny Novgorod region. It was emphasized that such actions pose a threat to stability and security, including efforts aimed at achieving long-term peace.

In the context of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level, the sides discussed issues of further developing Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance. They also exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues and reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
