President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat

When President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Ashgabat, he held a meeting with the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. It was noted with satisfaction that the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are rapidly developing, and the strategic partnership of the countries is consistently strengthening. It was noted that practical cooperation in trade, industry, energy, agriculture and water management, transport and other priority areas is expanding. The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan also exchanged views on issues of regional cooperation and considered the plan of future events.
