On May 12 of this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mauro Vieira. The meeting discussed issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Brazilian relations and bringing multifaceted cooperation to a qualitatively new level. In particular, special attention was paid to increasing trade between the two countries, developing business ties, and promoting joint projects in the chemical, electrical, pharmaceutical and other sectors of industry. At the end of the meeting, it was proposed to establish an Intergovernmental Commission to implement these tasks.
