President of Uzbekistan to pay a working visit to Switzerland

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, departed for Switzerland on January 21 for a working visit to take part in the signing ceremony of the Peace Council Charter in Davos, organized at the initiative of the American leader.
Earlier, the Head of State accepted the proposal to join the Council as a founding member.

The initiative was put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump and предусматривает the creation of a new international body — the Peace Council — aimed at bringing together countries ready to take responsibility for establishing long-term peace, stability and security in Gaza.
