On April 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the Fish Farming Kaenush Trading Cooperative in the Dangara district.
The purpose of creating an economy and establishing the cultivation of various types of fish is to create new jobs, ensure the growth of production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, as well as ensure the twofold progress of the agricultural industry in the district.
The President of the country, dear Emomali Rahmon, after familiarizing himself with the activities of the farm, released 55 thousand fry into the reservoirs.
For the first time in the country, the farming of bester fish will be established on the farm. It is expected that in the future more than 100 thousand fish will be grown on the farm.
Construction work on the construction of the reservoir was started in 2022 by entrepreneur Asadullo Isoev as part of the instructions and orders of the Leader of the Nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, in honor of the 35th anniversary of State Independence and has been completed today.
The total area of fish-breeding reservoirs is 17 hectares, where various types of fish are grown.
Currently, 5 fish-breeding reservoirs have been created in the farm in order to increase the types of fish grown and thereby increase its production.
During the familiarization, the Head of State was informed that the breeding of 55 thousand fish, such as carp, white carp and white amur, was established at the first stage. The responsible persons plan to increase the species and number of fish in the future.
After the beginning of the activity of fish-breeding reservoirs, 10 local residents were provided with permanent jobs in the Commercial Cooperative "Fish Farming Kaenush".
It should be noted that fishing has been developed in the Dangara district in recent years, and today the activities of 26 fish farms on 30 hectares of land are aimed at this area.
The production of fish meat in 2022 in the district amounted to 40 tons. In the first three months of 2023, 7.5 tons of fish meat were produced.
Favorable conditions and opportunities for fish farming have been created in the country, and the fruitful use of existing opportunities contributes to twofold progress.
One of the factors contributing to the development of the industry is the creation of new fish farms using new technologies, the provision of favorable benefits to entrepreneurs working in this direction, the creation of enterprises for the production of fish feed and meat processing.
All these measures will be implemented by the Government of the country as part of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the fishing sector in order to develop this profitable industry, create new jobs, generate economic income and, in general, improve the standard of living of the population.
