President met with the President of the World Taekwondo Federation

On April 15, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President of the World Taekwondo Federation, Cho Chung-won. The meeting took place within the framework of the World Youth Championship. The parties discussed the issues of training professional athletes and referees, the introduction of sports medicine, artificial intelligence and high technologies, as well as the regular holding of prestigious international competitions in Uzbekistan. At the end of the negotiations, Cho Chung-won was awarded the Order of Friendship for his contribution to the development of taekwondo. In turn, he presented the President with the highest award of the World Taekwondo Federation - the Order of Honor. This award was awarded to the head of our state for the first time.
