President inspects "Yangi Uzbekistan" massif in Kokand

On April 27 of this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as part of his visit to Fergana region, got acquainted with the construction work underway in the "Yangi Uzbekistan" massif in Kokand city. A total of 1 trillion 850 billion soums has been allocated for this project, and it is planned that about 25 thousand people will live in the area. The massif also includes the construction of 84 apartment buildings, a school, a kindergarten and a higher educational institution. So far, the first stage of construction has been completed, and 56 apartment buildings have been commissioned.
During the visit, the head of state talked with the enlightened people of Fergana. They noted that the well-being of the population is increasing as a result of the reforms being implemented in the regions. The President was also shown a presentation on the second phase of the "New Uzbekistan" complex and plans for the development of the city of Kokand.
