On July 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the Shusha city hospital for 90 beds.
According to Report, the head of state was informed about the ongoing work.
Recall that the foundation of the Shusha city hospital was laid on November 7, 2021 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
It was reported that the construction of the hospital building, erected on an area of 3.7 hectares, was launched in January this year. The hospital building consists of 6 buildings, of which 4 are four-story, and 2 are one-story. The basement of the building will be used as a stationary medical service and shelter, and, if necessary, will function as a military hospital. Reception, therapeutic, pediatric, surgical, maternity, gynecological departments, departments of infectious diseases, anesthesiology-resuscitation, hemodialysis will function at the site of inpatient services.
A consultative polyclinic, a children's polyclinic, departments of radiation diagnostics, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation, as well as a clinical diagnostic laboratory will be created at the outpatient services site.
The ambulance station of the hospital will be equipped with high-cost medical equipment that meets modern standards - a 1.5 T magnetic resonance tomograph and a 32-slice configuration CT scanner. Four brigades will operate at the station on each shift.
The Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy, the building for infectious diseases and hemodialysis will also be built on the territory of the Shusha city hospital.
It should be noted that the health of the population is in the center of constant attention of the head of state. Large-scale work is being carried out to organize and provide medical services in the territories liberated from occupation. The Shusha city hospital is one of the infrastructure projects implemented under the direct direction and under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to ensure the protection of the health of the population that will live in this region.
