President has been sleeping on a plane for three days — Tashiyev

Kamchibek Tashiyev, head of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan, said that President Sadyr Japarov has been sleeping only on a plane for the past three days due to a lot of work.
Despite the days off, Japarov has been traveling abroad. After flying from Malaysia, he refueled at Manas Airport and immediately flew to Minsk. He returned at night, but did not go home.
Tashiyev noted that civil servants should work as hard as the president. It is forbidden to rest or go abroad on Saturdays and Sundays. If such cases are discovered, officials will be punished and dismissed from their posts.
He reminded that in 2023 he also banned ministers from taking vacations, saying, "I will not see a single minister lying on the beach in shorts."
