President gets acquainted with new air border protection system

Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a presentation on some issues in the field of defense. The presentation considered the proposed measures to introduce a completely new system of air border protection, reorganize aviation units in accordance with the requirements of the time. These works will serve to further increase the combat capabilities and practical capabilities of the Air Force, strengthen the speed, mobility of the troops and the ability to respond to modern threats.

The issue of developing cooperation with Turkey in the field of military medicine was also discussed. For information, during Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Turkey in January, an agreement on education and cooperation in the field of military medicine was signed between the two countries.

The presentation provided information on the measures proposed to be implemented within the framework of this agreement. It is planned to provide training in the areas of medical treatment, dentistry, pharmacy, prevention, medical professions and nursing, master's and postgraduate studies, retraining and advanced training of military doctors.

In addition, it is planned to expand cooperation in scientific areas of medicine, hold seminars, congresses and symposiums, establish exchanges of teachers, consultants, researchers and students, organize joint training, jointly treat patients and establish medical institutions.

The meeting also considered proposals on registering conscripts in defense bodies, digitizing the activities of medical and draft commissions. At the same time, proposals were made to gradually increase the salaries of civilian employees of defense bodies, and increase the amount of monthly monetary compensation paid to military personnel for renting housing in Tashkent and Samarkand.

The President set priority tasks to increase the combat readiness and preparedness of the troops, and to introduce advanced practices into the military management and education system.
