⚡️ President announces introduction of social card

At a meeting dedicated to the effectiveness of work in the field of social protection and the discussion of priority tasks for 2025, the President announced the introduction of a single social card that will replace all documents. Currently, to receive 65 types of social services and assistance, citizens are forced to carry more than 10 documents, such as birth certificates, disability certificates, pensions, student ID cards, and bank cards. In order to put an end to such hassle, it was announced that a social card will be introduced.

With a social card, it will be possible to travel free of charge on buses and metro, receive compensation for electricity, gas, and tuition fees, and pensions and assistance will also be credited to this card.
This system will be tested in Tashkent and Yangiyul district until July 1, and will be launched everywhere by the end of the year.
