Preparations for the autumn conscription for military service began in Shugnan

In the Shugnan region of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region on July 20, a working meeting was held to prepare for the autumn conscription of young men for military service, NIAT "Khovar" reports with reference to the Executive body of state power of the Shugnan region.

At the meeting, the leadership of the district instructed the responsible persons to prepare for the autumn conscription of youth born in 1996-2005. Along with this, the chairmen of rural jamoats, the military commissar of the district were instructed to train citizens of military age in the district and determine the exact number of conscripts who should be called up for military service in the next period of 2023.

Also, the chairmen of settlement and rural jamoats, heads of organizations, enterprises, institutions, educational institutions of higher, secondary and primary vocational education, regardless of the form of ownership, were instructed to submit lists of citizens of military age to the military commissariat of the district and, based on the agenda of the military commissariat, inform citizens of military age.

The appeal of citizens of military age for removal from registration at the place of residence, stay, obtaining certificates and information about marriage is considered if there is a document confirming the registration of the military commissariat.

Also, the chairmen of rural jamoats were instructed to conduct a preliminary medical examination in accordance with a pre-approved plan "On preparation for the autumn conscription of citizens born in 1996-2005 for military service" until October 1, 2023 of young men who should be called up for military service during the autumn conscription period, and take the necessary measures for their enrollment in military service.
