Kazakhstan is considering banning prank videos. This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva at a meeting of the Senate. The minister said that protests have increased due to the fact that many pranks are filmed without people's permission. Therefore, a working group is being created to develop clear rules that determine who can be filmed and under what conditions.
Balayeva stressed that this initiative is being considered not to protect officials, but to protect the privacy of citizens. According to her, it is necessary to take into account the fact that both journalists and ordinary people are sending many applications in this regard.
