Population and Agricultural Census Begins in Uzbekistan

The population and agricultural census in Uzbekistan began on January 15 and will continue until February 28.

Citizens can register online through the census.stat.uz platform via the OneID system until January 31. From February 4 to 28, specially trained staff will visit homes to collect data on the population and agriculture.

The census will record age, education level, employment status, migration processes, as well as key indicators of land use and livestock in agriculture. Authorities emphasized that all collected data will be kept confidential and used solely for statistical purposes.

It is noteworthy that this is the first population census in the history of independent Uzbekistan.
