The unwillingness of the international community to take concrete steps to prevent the illegal transport of weapons, mines, and the rotation of Armenian military personnel who should not be on the territory of Azerbaijan through the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was the main reason for the creation of the Lachin border checkpoint (checkpoint). The current dissatisfaction of the same community with Azerbaijan's desire to protect itself, almost unanimously, is a clear manifestation of double standards.

Malik Kashif, a political analyst from Islamabad, told Report, commenting on Armenia's provocations on the Lachin road.

He said that since the decisions and actions of the international community depend on a combination of factors, including political considerations, diplomatic relations and the specific context of each situation, the reaction of the international community may vary depending on many factors.
"Deliveries of humanitarian aid must be strictly regulated and controlled. This will prevent the use of humanitarian convoys for other, mercenary purposes," M. Kashif said.

According to the political scientist, if there are fears or suspicions of the misuse of humanitarian convoys, namely for the transfer of military cargo, it is extremely important to bring this to the attention of the relevant international organizations.
