The humanitarian aid sent once again by Azerbaijan to Ukraine is a significant support for the Ukrainian people.
Ukrainian political scientist Oleksiy Voronenko stated this to Report.
"The next initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to provide assistance to Ukraine is a very positive trend," he said.
According to the political scientist, the two countries need to strengthen relations at all levels: cultural, social, economic. He also noted the importance of exchanging experience in the field of demining.
"In connection with what is happening in Ukraine now, almost the entire economy is working to achieve a military result, victory. Therefore, any help is very valuable for us at the moment," Voronenko concluded.
Azerbaijan allocated funds in the amount of $7.6 million for the purchase and supply of electrical equipment to Ukraine to provide humanitarian assistance. At the end of last year, Azerbaijan sent 45 transformers and 50 powerful generators for the needs of Ukraine. And the total amount of assistance provided at that time exceeded 17.5 million US dollars.
