A light sport aircraft crashed into the 109-story CITIC Tower (China Zun) in Beijing, China, on June 26.
The incident caused debris to fall from the building and damaged several cars. The building was evacuated after the incident, and firefighters, police and ambulance services arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the crashed aircraft was a Chinese-made Sunward SA 60L Aurora light sport aircraft that deviated from its intended route during flight. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
