Perpetrators who killed two Uzbek women in Turkey sentenced to life imprisonment

Dilshod Turdimurodov and G‘ofurjon Kamolxo‘jayev, accused of killing two Uzbek women and dismembering their bodies in Istanbul, Turkey, have been sentenced to two terms of aggravated life imprisonment.
The court found them guilty of "intentional homicide involving brutality or torture." Additionally, each received an additional sentence for committing theft in the home following the victims' deaths.
The victims were 36-year-old Durdona Hakimova and 32-year-old Sayyora Ergashaliyeva. They were killed in Istanbul's Ümraniye district.
According to investigation details, the defendants entered the apartment where the women lived and subsequently removed black trash bags and a white suitcase. Body parts belonging to the women were discovered in waste containers across various parts of Istanbul.
The defendants admitted to their involvement in the murders during the investigation and trial proceedings.
