Earlier, a Moscow regional court sentenced Alexander Semin, guilty of the rape and murder of 5-year-old Vaida Tillozoda, to 24 years in prison
Alexander Semin, who raped and killed the Tajik girl Vaida Tillozoda, was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Vaida’s father Adbusalom Saidov told Sputnik Tajikistan about this.
Earlier, the Moscow Regional Court sentenced Semin to 24 years in prison.
The girl's father filed an appeal against this verdict, and the next trial took place on September 13.
"They accepted my appeal and sentenced the killer to life imprisonment. I support this decision," Saidov said.
Let us remind you that Vaida Tillozoda disappeared on July 22, 2018 in Serpukhov. The next day, the girl's body was found in a sports bag near the railway.
The killer was quickly identified - law enforcement officers detained the family's neighbor, 28-year-old Alexander Semin.

Law enforcement officers immediately began studying recordings from outdoor surveillance cameras throughout the area. One of them recorded a man walking towards the railway with a large sports bag and returning without it.
This year, on March 15, the Moscow Regional Court handed down a verdict against Alexander Semin; he received 24 years in prison.
