Peace Council to allocate more than $5 billion for Gaza

In a statement via Truth Social, Donald Trump announced that the member states of the Peace Council will allocate more than $5 billion for humanitarian assistance and reconstruction work in Gaza. According to him, a meeting with council members will be held in Washington on February 19.

Trump also announced that thousands of personnel are planned to be sent to international forces and local police to ensure security and stability. The charter of the Peace Council was adopted in Davos in January 2026, which was also signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the president will attend the first meeting of the Peace Council.
