Pavel Durov Offers to Buy Back Stolen Louvre Jewels

Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced that he is willing to purchase the jewels stolen from the Louvre and return them to the museum.
In a post on X, Durov criticized the French government, saying that “the looting of the Louvre is yet another sign of the country’s decline.”

With a touch of irony, he added:

“I’d be happy to buy the stolen jewelry and return it to the Louvre — of course, I mean the Louvre Abu Dhabi. No one steals from there.”

As a reminder, on October 19, nine priceless imperial jewels were stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris.
The thieves, dressed as museum staff, entered the building and took the valuable pieces in just four minutes.
