Participants of the international car trip project "Visit the Island" were solemnly escorted
On August 20 of this year, participants of the International Auto travel project “visit to the island”, organized by the Tourism Committee in order to promote the natural landscapes, historical monuments and cultural properties of the islet region to the general public, increase the tourism potential of the area and develop the routes of autotourism, headed to Karakalpakstan.
As noted at the solemn observation ceremony held at the tourism committee, over 8 days, more than 70 participants will visit Nukus, Moynok, the island-side area, Bukhara, Khiva and Navoi regions in about 30 roadless cars and get acquainted with the tourist attractions, environmental problems of the region and the lifestyle of local residents.
During the trip, participants will receive information about the dry bottom of the Aral Sea, the cemetery of historical ships in the fur and the consequences of an environmental disaster. They will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with the environmental recovery projects in the area, the measures that are being implemented to develop the green economy.
This auto project is an important step in the development of ecotourism, cultural and historical tourism and extreme tourism in the Aral Sea region. Participants of the International Auto Show Project” visit to the island " will get acquainted with the tourism potential of the Museum of the island tragedy, The Igor Savitsky Art Museum in Nukus, Bukhara, Navoi and Khiva shahlariri.
